| My in-dash tach has suddenly started reading high. It stops at 1000 when I shut off the motor(goes to zero when in accessory position) and it reads like 1000 rpms high at wot. My smartcraft screen reads normal rpm ranges, engine sounds and runs normal, and get no alarms. Is the gauge just bad or what? Any ideas would helpful. My engine is a'05 200 optimax. | |

| Some tachs have a switch/setting on the back of them to match them to the motor being used. Maybe check that out. | |
