Yep ! You betcha they were muskie plugging in those lakes in downtown Minneapolis. These lakes have been known to give up 52"+ fish. Nice park type setting with the walking, jogging, biking paths around the lakes. You can walk your pet also but needs to be on a leash but most important is KEEP YOUR PET AWAY FROM THE WATER !!

I think a guy caught a 53" Hybrid from lake Calhoun in like 1987? Anyone remember if that's correct? I lived a block away from there for a year but never fished it. I think only electric motors were allowed. I also saw Ted Capra and Roland Martin pull a bunch of 5lb Bass from lake Calhoun one time.
