I lost the plastic part of the second eye on my St. Croix rod this last weekend. I am heading to Canada latter this week. Anyone know where I can get it fixed quickly this week. Thanks BG

My local sports shop fixed that type of problem in five minutes. I don't know where you live, but Ed Shirley Sports here in the Chicago area did it for me, and MN Thorne Brothers could do it and WI R&H's could probably do it. Any big sport shop with rod service should be fine if you call ahead and verify they can do it. Good luck in Canada!

i hope that gander mt. did it and st.croix is not starting the flub their products,,,
they did how ever fix it.i'm not really pleased with the work they did on it,( never re-painted over the replacement tip,) looks like they cut it,put a new one on and that was it.....heck i could of did that, but i figured if i paid $140.00 for a rod they could repaitr it

Forgot to mention I am in Madison. If I could just get the plastic piece I could do it myself with a little super glue. Also, it is a rod guide not a hook eye. DAH BG

Save yourself the trip Bob will only do tip repair due to eyesight. He recommended a place in Cottage Grove to me. I don't have the number give Bob a call.
