The big O had his first 50-incher last week up there. 48 and a 49-incher boated by his son that same day.

That lake rocks !!!

I just wish I'd boated the one I missed off Flat-Top Reef at about 3:45 on Friday, 15 minutes before calling it a trip.....that one was bigger, much bigger.

Andrew...I think I know the one you saw...we left that spot at 2pm. There were 3 hazard markers...one with a rock out of the water. I raised a 52-54" pig twice right before we left also off that rock! It sucked having to leave after seeing a fish like that!

Let me clarify, I didnt SEE that fish, it ATE my XXX about 6 cranks into the retrieve. Hit like a ton of bricks, I laid into the fish with all I had, couldnt move her, then 3 head-shakes later, and she was gone. Weird feeling being pissed while smiling all at the same time.

That, the fish I saw the day before on the West Arm ("go there, about an hour from now") and the overall Andy Meyers experience.....reasons we'll be back next year!

Slamr, I had the exact same thing happen to me on LOTW two years ago. Hardly a day goes by that I don't think about the moment that the fish got off. Almost every day. Good luck getting your mind right after that.
