My humble question would be..... When will RiverRun start making lure bills again? From my investigations over the last 6 weeks he is 95% of the source for lure bills and he is not making them at this time. All supply is drying up. Would love to buy his equipment and load everyone up myself

Best way to find out is call them, see what they have to say.

Good luck trying to get a hold of Paul, we've been trying for the last 8 months or more. No one seems to be able to reach him by phone, fax, or email.

Tried a few times myself. Sounds like he is busy with the Manta. I am part at fault there as I bought two custom painted ones from MRG a few months ago. I know a lot of people are waiting for him to punch some more bills out soon. He needs to hire some poor high school kids to do some of that work I know that would have been a lot more fun than walking beans or corn when I was younger...

If you need lips you can call Pauls old partner, Dave Lutz his brother Mark is making lips and you only need to call him once..........................

I aint bagging on Paul or Loretta, but......
They have been always hard to get ahold of, and the bait biz is not there full time deal. I have an order from January that has yet to be billed to my account. The Manta and hang Ten are SWEET baits, and, as the rest of you, have long awaited the little manta, which had supposedly been released in May of this year. I hope things are good with them. They were always very nice to me.

You guys using the metal lips may have to go to lexan.

All of my Grunts are made to run with metal lips. Otherwise they do not run right. Need the weight to get them to wobble right and to get to 15 feet. Tried lexan in some prototypes and all I did was made a lot of firewood. Got some to run but had to put in a lot of weight. Also weekens the bait IMO to drill so many holes.

Spike's Premium Lures in Michigan used to manufacture metal lips. Not sure if Spike is still around or not.

Spike sold his business to Paul. We do have a fairly good supply of lips in stock. Have been getting some from Paul. Seems to be getting back to filling orders. 715-356-6834.

The price of steel, globally, has jumped 12% since July. Whatever you guys use in steel should buy right now. It is going up again soon.
