Location: Elk River, Minnesota | That rock bass has some of the most unusual looking eyes, and interesting markings on it sides!!
That has one of the best looking markings I have ever seen on a muskie!! Love the gill covers!! That fish deserves a graphite repo if it's large enough...
Beautiful fish!!

| Hulbert,
Enough of them silly plastic bracelets man-go for the GOLD-player style. Dudes with serious bling (Tony Grant) catch serious fish!

| That is Giant!
Good work man. I'd guess 54-56 @ 40lbs.
Some of these guesses crack me up also. |
|
|
|
| Pretty simple why everybody is reluctant to post dimensions, other people ridicule it.
As long as you know how big it was, why does it matter that others do?
Great fish mike.
It was a big fish, and that is all anybody really needs.

| i had the good fortune to net and photograph a 49.5 from those same northern MN waters during roughly the same time of year last summer.
looking at the pic just now for comparison: Mike's has a bigger head, bigger tail, bigger fin, and wider girth.
yes, he's holding it out a bit further, but he's not a small guy.
i'm not saying, i'm just saying...
Mike, i know it's fun to poke the Doubting Thomases in the audience in the eyes, but instead of playing the "wait and see" card, how about just giving out the dimensions or saying that you aren't going to do so?
and for those with an opinion, it's always more credible if you log in and man-up behind your words rather than posting three different times using three different "guest" names. |

Location: Indianapolis, IN | Why do so many people care how big the fish is? It is big! I'm guessing Mike didn't catch the fish in a tournament, so the length doesn't really matter! When I am lucky enough to put a ski in the boat, I seldom ever measure one! I just don't feel the need! Congrat's again Mike on a huge fish!

Location: Morehead, Ky | Nice fish. The fish looks bigger than it's real size. Holding a fish that far out in front of you distorts the real image. With a good camera, and by holding the fish out in front of me i can turn a 38' into a look alike monster. Still a nice fish. |

I think it's big, easily over 50" class fish but it's kind of the pot calling the kettle black if you remember yourself ridiculing DA on the Musky Hunter board a while back. Nice fish though. |
