Subject: Children's Hospital Benefit Aug. 26th (southern WI)

If you don't have any plans for August 26th please consider coming to a benefit for the Children's Hospital of Milwaukee.
It is put on by relatives of MuskieFirst member Bytor (Troy Schoonover) to give back to the hopsital that helped their son who is now healthy and active - with a love for muskie fishing!

Troy described things:
My nine year old nephew, Cole Hefty, was born with only three developed chambers in his
heart. The Milwaukee Children's Hospital did some incredible work on
Cole. When he was two his Doctor performed what was considered a radical
procedure on his heart, all of the other doctors wanted to go the safe
route and put a gortex chamber in him. If they had done that Cole would
have been looking at getting his chest cut open every ten years and not
being able to play sports ,ect. Cole had a very rough recovery from this
procedure, he was in the hospital for an extended time with very low
oxygen levels. All the other doctors kept telling Hope and Dan that it
wasn't working and they would need to to do the Gortex path. Cole's
surgeon convinced them to ride the storm out and he was correct.

Eventually Cole's heart responded and he is now a very healthy, active
and happy boy. He loves playing hockey, baseball and musky fishing. He
will be a member of Capital City Muskies Inc. in the near future.

Cost: $25.00 for a family, $15.00 for an individual

Location: Eugsters Farm, located on HWY 138 between Oregon and
Stoughton.

Time: The party starts at 3:00 PM, food is served at 5:00 PM (it is
catered in and is very yummy) They also supply beer, soda, water ,ect.

Prizes: There are countless door prizes and many raffles and auctions. They
always have hunting stuff (Shotguns, rifles and maybe a day hunting at a
private club), golfing packages (Burgemount), one year they had a fly in
fishing trip to Manitoba. They sell t-shirts, hats, ect. with their logo
on them. Bring your checkbook. There are countless activities for the
kids to do.

This thing just keeps getting bigger and bigger every year.
Last year this event was the biggest contributor to the hospital.
