Location: Racine, Wi | Well I finally got a little fishing in last week on my own. Unfortunately I could only fish in the mornings for the most part as we had a storm come through just about every night. I'd set up where the big girls had been showing in the morning, then bam. Lightning. DOH!!! Oh well. Anywho, I got a chance to take my wife's uncle and a buddy who don't get out often, and told them, "we'll score a few fish tonight". After the first hour, we hadn't even seen a fish, but the first area we fished was loaded with bait, and I marked a few muskies nearby. We hit a few other spots and came back, then the action started. Vince lost a mid 30s on a sweet 3' jump. Then 2 casts later he has a fish try to grab his bait as he's pulling it out of the water. Then he FINALLY hooks up good. Not 2 seconds after that, Brett says, "I've got one too!!" So they both hooked up at the same time. We ended up getting both fish, a 38 and a 34. That was something saweet!!! As a side note, not 5 casts after we released the fish I lost one on a bulldawg in the same area. (note, I suck. I lost 9, yes 9 fish up to 50"s that week on dawgs. Only boating 4 that ate dawgs)

Location: Brookfield, WI | I would have had that beer on ice for you. The problem then is, it's easier to drink them faster, and you probably still lose the fish. Congrats on the double. Pretty fish.

Your one good stick.
More beer is needed to add weight to your tall slender build. Then the weight shift will allow a harder hook set. We will work on that tonight. LOL
