I am thinking about getting a new setup and i'm not sure what reel to get. If anyone knows anything about either of these reels your input would be greatly appreciated.

Abu Record hands down. I watched my buddies new Induron systematically fall apart during it's first day out. Level wind, anti-reverse, and finally the thumb bar.

The Record is a sweet reel, very smooth. I would recommend the high capacity model. I am very happy with mine.

I had an indurion for about a week. Not very high quality. Returned it. I have not had the record but have only heard good.

I've never handled the Okuma but I have owned Abu(many different models), Spidercast 900(junk), Quantum Iron(average), Calcutta 400(junk for me), and Diawa Millionaire CV-Z(very nice).

I just received my Record 60HC. I haven't even put line on it yet, heading to LOTW Labor Day. This is one nice reel. Very solid and smooth. Hands down the best initial impression of any Abu I've had. I also have a green 6500C Mag Elite I got about 6 or 7 years ago that's built like the ones from the old days that I like a lot too. From now on I will only be buying Abu, for the money, reliablility, readily available parts and how easy they are to work on there's really no reason for me to go with another manufacturer. Hope this helps your decision.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies! I only hear good things about the Abu Record so I think I'm going to go with that. I have an Okuma Epix spinning reel and I am very pleased with it and I am suprised that no one fishes the Induron. Thanks for all the input it is greatly apprecitated!
