Howdy. Mauser gave me a great little crankbait, a twitch-type 8" crank made by Muskie 911 tackle - kinda looks like a Jake or Slammer. I cast it the other day and the lip just came off. I've tried to contact the maker but with no reply (see thread on Tackle & equipment), so I thought I'd try to make a lip. My local glass shop gave me a piece of plexi, does anyone have a lip pattern that I could trace and cut out? I have no idea how big it should be, only had the bait a couple weeks.

Thanks so much for any assistance. m

If your going to make a new lip use Lexan (polycarbonate) which is much stronger than plexiglass. Plexiglass will just break off again. 1/8 inch should be sufficient. Any questions?? If I can help let me know. Ken Schmitz
