Me along w/ my group just booked a lodge on Pipestone Lake for next year during the second week of July. Has anyone fished it before? We love fishing the trout water and we've heard good things about Pipestone. I know we still have plenty of time, but it's always nice to get a head start.

I used to fish that water from Art Latto's camp on Loonhaunt; we left the boats in Pipestone and fished from camp boats on Loonhaunt.. We did OK, but I was constantly drawn to the smaller lakes off the system. Muskie fishing on Pipestone there can be really good; clear water and lots of good structure. I fished it with bucktails and jigs mostly, but that was a long while back.

That's the same place we're going. We figured it must be a good lodge considering they have a 90% return rate. Did you see any big fish? The pictures on their website have some hogs.
