| I have an Abu power handle that I got earlier this year, and put it on a Morrum 6600CL. After only using it a few times, it is somewhat "droopy"? How do I fix the paddle that is all loose on the end of the crank?

| Order a new handle from HatterassOutfitters and toss the junk you got. Don't lose a nice fish over an easily-overcome weakness in your system. | |

Location: London, England | The way the standard ones are built means that they will go floppy after some use as the rivet wears loose. The 7000 handles are made differently and will not go floppy, but unfortunately they don't fit the 6500 size reels. Hatteras do some snazzy Japanese models (see picture) which are constructed like the 7000 handles, so won't go floppy, but if you're like me, you'll bend the handle when you set the hook!
Hatteras do some Penn reel handles, I don't know whether they are any stronger/longer lasting, but they might be worth a go.

| So now I'm on Hatteras, and there are like 5 choices of power handles to fit the Morrum. The price differences are pretty small, so choice thereof is really only dependent on quality and durability. Thoughts on which one is best for the 6600CL Morrum? Will be using the reel for big 'tails, mag dawgs, and big cranks, and maybe a little trolling here and there.

Better yet, get a 4:1 ratio ABU 7000 - the stump puller! | |
