Subject: Mille Lacs guide for Friday July 28th?

Looking for a Mille Lacs musky guide for a half day on Friday July 28th. We're arriving at Mille Lacs
late Thursday the 27th so we would prefer an evening time around 4-8pm or so.

If anybody has an open slot leave your email address and I will get a hold of you.

Thanks,

Mark

Short notice, good luck getting a good guide. I suggest you start asking folks on the board what's happening right now on the lake in case you don't hook up. You'll likely get some good tips.

I called and left Steve Jonesi message telling him that this message was here. He is probably on the water now, but is one of the top guides on that water, a good friend of mine, and a great way to spend a day on the water.

You can contact him directly at 612/799-2034, and check his website at httP://www.stevejonesi.com

Too short of notice for a good guide. Jonsie would be terrific, so I've been told. He would be my first call, though I've never met the dude.

Fess up folks, who's been fishng the lake and what's happening??? Send some PM's to the Mark, toss him some ideas.

Mark, you don't have to have a guide to have a great time, though fishing with a good guide will teach you so so much. Get a lake map, study, stop by bait shops and drop some coin while you ask about what's going on.

But get Jonsie if you can. Good guides are worth the bucks, you learn so much.

What about Treats? I fished Mille with him a couple years ago. We didn't catch any muskies, but he got a nice pike, and we laughed alot! His boat was real fast, too!

If you can find Greg Thomas's number he has a bunch of guides he works with. He has a website, too. I know this isn't much info but I have to go to a golf outing right now.

Thanks Shep, but I think I'll still be needing the frozen peas on the 28th if you know what I mean. I'm going to see Dr.Death on the 26th.

I think Luke is booked but I'd give him a try as he has been on fish this year. Steve Sepaniac (sp?) is also an option.

Piece of Cake, Treats. I was in the saddle that same night! Lotsa ice right away kept the swelling and the coloration down to a minumum. Beer helped. ALOT!

I heard that Gregg filled his book in early winter. Pretty impressive for any guide to fill a book that far ahead of time IMOP.
