119 users browsing the site as I type this. Everybody must be hiding inside due to the heat.

Think I'm bored?

air is drying out here in northern oneida and vilas counties and the worst is behind us ... wind, drier air and much cooler already this afternoon and into the next few days ... should moderate things quite a bit ... remember drier and slightly cooler air with wind will make a big impact quickly on the water. be smart, but don't go overboard either

It's cooler this evening, thank goodness, and should be better tomorrow than it has been the last couple. I have the windows open here tonight, which is a refreshing change.

It was over 90 in 47 of the states yesterday, not including HI and AK. Yowzaaa!!! Never thought I'd be happy to see a cold front. Went out on the porch last night around 10:30 just as it was coming through. Pretty cool to feel it drop 15 degrees.
