Other than Garcia, does anyone make a high speed muskie reel for burning bucktails?

The TE and Luna are both great reels for burning tails.

AGAIN: higher gear ratios are WORSE for burning bucktails, than are lower gear ratios. The gearing will NOT hold up over time, be it in a Garica or other brand. In addition, the higher torque you are exerting will give you "the claw" on your hands.

Suggestion: go with a wider spool, larger sized reels, with a power handle. Fill the spool as much as possible, and you will attain the speeds desired. And, less claw hand to deal with.

I prefer the Abu 7000 pro rocket for burning bucktails. Even with the cowgirls I don't get "the claw". Fairly reasonable on price also.

As slamr said, high speed is not the way to go. You will burn up your arms faster than the gears. Leverage is what you want. Big spool, big reel handle, the faster and easier it is to crank.
