Birch Run Michigan (at the mouth of Saginaw Bay)
I fish Sanford, Thorneapple, Budd Lakes in Michigan, as well as LOTW, and Eagle
You'll see me in a 14.5' peace'o'chit early model with a 25 horse lumpyturd two stroke motor. I pull this marine beauty with a black 4 cylinder pil'a'dung with muskie stickers all over it. I also have a wonderful transom mount trolling motor i think it's called a poopkota. If I sound like I am complaining I am. But it sounds like there are some cool folks on this board from all around the musky world. Good Luck this season, and God bless.
Regardless of her name my vessel smells like a rose!! (in a septic tank.)[;)]

getting the baits ready but still no luck for the lexan. Does anybody have some 5mm thick lexan sheets? Or 6mm is fine too.

| I'm from Portland, Oregon but I proudly display three-foot muskie decals on both sides of my Smokercraft (one of the muskies has a foot-long walleye decal in his mouth). I get lots of stares, and questions like: "What kinda shark is that?"
I fish Mayfield Lake in Washington State for tigers...the only west coast lake that harbors musky, and of course they're sterile. The Fish and Game salmonoid freaks out here are absolutely terrified that true muskies will get dumped in their waters. I have news for them -- they have!

| MIKE KOEPP from pewaukee lake wis.
I fish a 1999 ranger620vs fisherman, pinpoint trolling moter, lorrance 350a,225optmax,9.9fourstroke,and drive 2002 ford f350 cab 1/2 powerstroke diesel. I guide pewaukee and other local lakes, but pewaukee lake is my specialty. My guide service runs all year. musky fishing is by bread and butter with walleye fishing close second after musky is closed. If you havent tried pewaukee lakes walleye fishing on the ice give me a call. Modern iceshanties and 25 years experence will give you the edge you need. jason turned me on to this fishing board and I think steve and him deserve a lot of credit!! This is something to scratch the itch, or maybe in my case it just makes it worse. Thank god for ice fishing, which i do 3 to 6 days a week. Going out tonight for some more walleye action, hope the ice will tollerate the next couple days, its getting bad, might have to pull the iceshacks off soon, will let you know in the ice report. scratch, scratch, scratch.[:)]

| naugatuck, connecticut... land of no muskies and lousy sports teams... still searching for that miracle muskie lake somewhere near where i live- so i can spend thousand's of dollars on lures and equipment rather than on plane tickets in order to muskie fish... maybe i should just stick to pickerel and bass(yeah right![:p])

| I'm from Mokena, IL.
I fish lakes in Illinois-Shabbona, Fox, and am gong to try Shelbyville this May. I have also fished Webster lake Indiana a few times. My favorate lake is Cass Lake in MN. I share a tournement V17 Tracker with my brother, we are actually looking to get a used Ranger. I really do enjoy the Musky first message board during the off season, I have only been a member for a few months, since the Chicago musky show.
ANy tips on Shelbyville in the spring would be appreciated, we are going to use a guide (Larry Kovac) for a day while were down there as well.
Then the next big trip is to Cass in Sept.
