I envy you the chance to get your tackle ready Jason. Some of my stuff has been in the boat since mid september but hey? do I get a chance to oil things and sharpen stuff, noooooooooooo!, I have to keep fishin all the time with no month off until next July and August, but wait, that's when I go up and hammer YOUR fish, so I don't get any rest at all. Man you don't know how lucky you are...
some of my hooks have been sharpened down to nubs, my reels are starting to make that sound, my thumb has that callous, the film bill, the wear on the net, it all adds up you know. Maybe I will skip my WI trip this summer just to get a rest.....[:sun:]

I have an itch.

But, the doctor says with proper medications it can be controlled.

LOL.

If keeps getting warmer I will have to scratch my itch, on Evergreen or Kinkaid. Al[]

I guess I can't complain to much. I was fishing the week before christmas and my lake should be about unfrozen next week. Hopefully it will[:knockout:]

The itch is driving me crazy. I'll finally get a chance to scratch it (sort of) at the end of March at Lake Naciamento in CA. I've never fished there, but my in-laws have a place on the lake, and I'm insisting that if we have to go visit the in-laws as our "winter" vacation, that I get to go fishing.

I think I'll bring along all my topwaters (that's why I need to get a Pacemaker soon from Ty) and watch bass blow up on them. Then I can piss and moan to my father-in-law about how they are nothing like a muskie!

Yea, I've got the itch.

I'll need to visit the doctor about my itch. Won't have time to go out until July (exams at school) so I'll definetely need some pills for that![:knockout:]

I hate the time between seasons. I drive my wife crazy almost to the point of divorce. I sharpen hooks over and over again. I think I may have it, what do you think. lol

What itch? Heading to Dale Hollow with FSF on Wednesday. Spent an hour on Lake Cumberland today before the Daytona 500 (interesting race), and got a nice striper (32"). There is lots of open water in Kentucky, and the fish seem hungry.

I scratched my itch last saturday. Wading for muskies in RIVER X. I almost fell twice to my watery grave & my C-3 took a dump & zero fish. I was still the best day Ive had for 2002.

[:p]

Muskie fishing ROCKS!!!!!!!ROOOOOOOOOOOOOCKS!!!!!

Almost 50 degrees here today, unbelievable. I just might get my boat out of storage early next week and hit the big eyes on the Miss by Red Wing. That way she will be good and ready to go for the Cave. Itch? That doesn't even begin to describe it. I think I open my box every day and look inside it. STill got room too, hehe. I wouldn't be nearly as anxious to ski hunt if it was a normal winter, but this warm weather is driving me NUTS!! This Feb. has been warmer than the last 2 weeks of the season, crazy. Thanks very much goes to MR. Cady and all others involved for putting the Outings together and keeping us slimy before our normal Musky season starts. As the ball gets rolling with these outings, it would be fun to hit Shelbyville or Kincaid next Jan. or Feb too. []
