Subject: 8" Shad - First attempt at making a lure.


Guys:
This is my first carved bait. What are your thoughts? It's 8" and has been tested in the water. Ultimately, I am going to produce an 8" and a 5" bait in shallow and a deep diver. Any thoughts?

Thanks. It has a fairly wide wiggle to it right now. I am still playing around with the weight and lip size. It's encouraging though.

Looks good. I'm guessing it has some pretty wild action with the large, shallow lip.

Yeah, I am trying different lips and angles. Also, I will be putting on the molded 3-d eyes. I just hand painted those. Everyone seems to be out of the eyes right now.
