Kev, saw your vehicle on both big lakes last week while I was up on vacation. I was in the grey Ranger 620. We either caught ourselves or saw the following fish caught last week. 44, 46, 49, 50.5, 51. Unfortunately the 51 was removed as it was caught by a bass fishermen that had never caught a big muskie. I tried to talk him out of it, but he was from St. Louis and wanted one for the wall. I had to get in his boat and removed the hook from the fish, he had a small bass net , and the ski got her revenge by biting him on his hand badly. He lost alot of blood and was on blood thinning medication. Not a good situation to be fishing by himself.

We also found a dead 49" muskie on Bemidji that was bloated and didn't smell too good. I fished with Nick from Bluewater. How did you do with all that sunny weather?

Cyclonehunter,
We've been doing really well. Mike Hulbert and I have been putting alot of fish in the boat. 50.5, 50, and 49.5 being the biggest. Many other fish from 40 to 47.5. The recent storm has really shut things off. 0 fish in the boat yesterday with miserable fishing conditions. It is supposed to reach 100 degrees today and we won't get out until 8 or 9pm. The water temps are reaching the upper 70's and cooler weather is needed.
