i am sure this has been asked before but i'll ask anyway. i want to make my own leaders and am going to use 130# floro, stay lock snaps and some type of swivel. my questions are what is the best floro to use, what swivels, and how do you tie that floro to the snaps and swivels (what knot or tool is used). i dont want to use crimps, thanks to anyone who can help.

for 130# i would stay with seaguar brand. i use a nail knot for my leaders, and a drop of superglue.

yes there is a tool that you use to tie it. you can get one from www.staminainc.com it is called a nail knotter tool. they also sell all the quality components for making your own leaders. if you got any other questions you can shoot me a email. [email protected]
