Welcome to the site, I have been fishing since I could walk and caught my first musky when I was 15. I have been musky fishing for going on 30 years and it just gets better and better. Welcome to M1st, the good old days of musky fishing are now.

Welcome. I have not been here too long myself. I don't think I've irritated too many people yet, except for that one time.....

I do a lot of things for Muskies Inc., and actually don't get out fishing as much as I'd like to. I usually catch 8-10 fish a year, but last year only caught a 47 incher. I guess that's not so bad, if you're gonna catch one fish. I'm hoping to get out more this year, and get at least one bigger than that. Let me know if you'd like any information about Muskies Inc. or anything else, as I'd be glad to help you out if I could. Good fishing.

Welcome to the site. This site offers plenty besides "forums" and the boards. Video is available for lure demo's, radio bytes of hot topics, great scheduled chats (off season) the latest musky news and happenings. Oh yeah, when Musky Fever really takes hold of you, like in the winter months, this site is worth its weight in gold.

Howdy. There's some cranky old men on this site, I'm one of them, and most of us delight in the prospect of seeing our next generation succeed at this sport. I didn't start fishing for muskies till I'd passed 45 , so I'm pleased to see you getting a jump on it. My dad liked smallmouth bass and northerns, so I had a big learning curve to get the couple dozen fish I now have under my belt.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, the only dumb question is the one you keep to yourself. Glad to see another muskie guy from 'out east', you should consider joining you nearest Muskies Inc. chapter. good luck to you, show us some photos of some fish when you can. m

We should be asking him questions!
You are among the minority if you are putting multiple 50's in the boat.
I've been chasing the stinkyslimyrottengreenbrowndidImentionstinky things for over 30 years and haven't cracked 50 yet. Though I have had 13 opportunities.
Good to have you aboard kid. Post some pictures please.
I'd love to see those fish.
Does this make Sworrall Gramps instead of Dad?

Welcome to the site I also am a new guy both here and to muskie fishing. I am 48 so I am getting a late start, but hope to make up for lost time. Went out for my first time a couple of weeks ago with my 14 year old daughter. We saw 3 but none in the boat. But the limit of boneless northerns sure tasted fine.

Welcome Colin !!!

Or is it Mr Beilman?

I am 45 years into life and have been fishing every since I could walk down to the pier. I have always lived on the lake or within walking distance from it. I have got my share of good fish but every year is a new year and I am hopefull to do better than the last.

Now I have to split my fishing time between client, family and friends. My numbers will decrease for my self but the number of fish in my boat each year keep going up. The joy on people faces is priceless when they score a fish or a huge fish. I love my job. The more you catch and more you will want to fish. There is no stopping it. Time on the water is your best bet.

Welcome to the finest muskie board around. You will find everything you could want from this board. Take some time and look around. Feel free to ask questions and share imput with others. We are just one big family in the muskie world.

Nice fish by the way. Good start.
