| How do you go about breaking in new Motors? Im going to need to do this with a 60 Four Stroke Merc. Any help would be great!

| read the owner's manual before you take the motor out. follow the directions, EXACTLY. |

I would assume that it probably has a 10-20 hour break in period.
Don't over do it to soon, or you'll pay in the long run. Break it in right. |

Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | My new Merc's owner's manual said to (bear in mind, I have a 2 stroke 90 horse) mix some more oil in with the first tank of gas, and to not run at the same speed/ RPM for more than 2 minutes at a time, and to not open her all the way up until that first tank of gas was burned up. Again, read YOUR manual. |
