in my opinion an even better lense than those 2 is the "sunrise" (light yellow) lense by Costa Del Mar....

Ihave backwater green lenses which are reallly great under most conditions, but with really over cast or dusk and dawn I think I could get a better lense perhaps. I will be using this second pair as my day to day sunglasses when not fishing...the maui jims I am looking at only come in grey or amber in this model..thanks..Ben

Ben,

I too like backwater green, except in low light. Then I use an Amber tinted lens and it seems to work well. There is also a color called Vermillion that I've heard works well also.

If you get a pair of H30's, you will get Grey, Amber, and Yellow Lenses. All are polarized. I have the Surge Model and I use the Amber under most lightning conditions, however if it is really dark I will go to the Yellow. The frames also have a lifetime warranty, so if you would happen to break them you don't have to worry about it!!

Why not go with another pair of ocean waves and get a pair with luminator lenses? They are yellow based lenses for low light conditions. They work well for me.
