how do you get the carpet unsmashed and the pile back up in hi traffic areas on your boat? mine is like walking on cement board. thanks...

Get that rig to a car wash, and set the spray on soap first. Find out which way the 'grain' of the carpet goes, and put the pressure washer against that grain. Do the same with a rinse cycle, the same with a wet vac, let it dry. It'll be way better.

if you fish instead of sleeping in the boat all the time the carpet would not be all smooshed.

I see a fight starting here! Bloss, I figured you would know the answer to your question on this one!??! Power wash is definitely the way to go. It will take a couple times because you have no clue how much crap is in the carpet. How did your carpet get "smooshed"?

good question who is that passed out on the tuffy? musta heard one too many of meyers stories...
6 years of standing on the front deck with my svelte 240 arse! that's how you flatten carpeting... any other intelligent questions???

After you vac up the water by pulling the wand against the "grain", you can really make it stand up by brushing it in the same direction with a clean brass/wire brush. It won't last a long time but it sure looks nice for a while.
