I was told you could tent anywhere on Canadas land as long as you have a 10$ permit. I'm not to confident in my source though and don't want to end up in da clink. Anyone have expireince with this?

4 years ago on LOTW, we just found a good spot and set up shop. All we needed was the camping permit.

There are a few designated camping spots, but we found more fun in making our own.

I'm heading up tomorrow morning and will be "Crown land" camping on LOTW for four nights. There are certain areas on which non-residents can't camp. A $10 permit is what you need for each night.
