| I got one from a mate and I was wondering what components I should use to make this into a nice big bucktailspinner? Also what kind of rod should I use to fish it?
One of the people who were looking at one of his spinners in that size, thought they were taking pictures with an enormous flash from underwater!!

| I would use a big clevise with at least .051 wire. I have made some big ones and I throw them with my crankbait and jerkbait rods. Thorne Brose has the biggest blades I have seen and will be on the 17" long spinners I am making. They look like a very wide indiana. |

| just for the record: that blade is 9.5cm long from the eye to the round bend on the other side!
Should I use heavy brass beads and loads of bucktail to get it or work or not? |
