Location: Contrarian Island | So after about 6 days of virtually very little action on the Madison lakes..from what I heard, I was up north but alot of guys I knew hit it hard the last 6 days with very very little results..last nite from about 6:45 or so, to 8:15 they decided to go nuts...No fronts, no cloud or sun changes...the only thing I could see was the barometer was dropping all day but very little and slowly then went back up right in that window...
I have noticed that "bottoming" effect has been when I've had tons of action in the past...too bad you couldn't predict when it would bottom and come back up....
My partner and I had action from 8 muskies up to 47 and put 3 nice ones in the net...with another lost and another that missed the bait...other guys I knew on the lake reported hits and action in that same window...so what made them turn on?
It looked like just another bunk night ahead with the same N/NE wind we've had for 6 days...

| u guys pay too much attention to that stuff LOL
here's why
cuz if you KNEW ahead of time that feeding window would be there, you'd STILL freakin be out fishing anyway. same as me.
LMAO!!!
