Location: Downers Grove, IL | Hey Guys,
I'd thought I share a picture from last week that you might enjoy. I took some time off and headed down to do some saltwater fishing and ran into this beast. She ripped an Amberjack in half at boatside and then proceeded to eat my Jackpot on a FIG RIG right in front of my face. WHAT A FIGHT!! It was truely a sight to see. I only wish I had a video camera to get all the action. I didnt get a measurement but it was extremely heavy and probably close to 60 inches. By far the biggest cuda that I've personally seen. Enjoy!

| I caught a 30" Cuda in the keys that fought harder and was meaner than the biggest Muskie that ever lived. I can't even imagine the fight that beast put up! |

Location: Oak Lawn, IL. | Spent some time fishing for barracudas down in Key West a few years ago and it is addictive. They are so fast and so willing to hit anything that comes near them. I caught a 40" and had it mounted and the mount turned out awful. Next to my replica 52" muskie it looks sad. Nothing like the picture at all. If Ron Lax did barracuda replicas that would be an incredibly cool looking mount with all the detail they put into it and those impressive teeth.
Beautiful fish, man. Nice job! |

Location: WESTERN WI | I caught barracudas fly fishing in the flats off the coat of Belize in January and that fish takes the cake! Well done! I can not imagine taking my Musky gear to the Carribean on my next vacation but I will not rule it out. |

If you think about it...same body profile, same basic head design, same eye placement, same fin placement... General terms here, but there's got to be a connection...
