Just got the news that Mark Gostisha has left Frabill. Mark was the vice president of sales for Frabill & Mark was a incredible influence in getting my fishing career going and helping me along the way. Mark is the ONLY reason that I learned about the Frabill product and became a avid user of not only the nets but the ice fishing equiptment as well.

Mark I want to personally thank you for your support, service and help through the years. You are THE best. Whatever you are leaving Frabill to do I know you will be an incredible addition to that company. Again thank you and good luck!

All of us on the IMTT greatly appreciate everything Mark has done for us. Hell of a great guy.
I wish him the best, but I'd bet my boat that luck and wishes aren't needed...this guy's a winner and I'm sure he'll keep on the same pace as he did with Frabill.

Yep, Mark will be missed at Frabill, but he's got other stuff up his sleeve...

I just got in the office and read the email from Frabill as well.

A true gentleman in the industry, and a good friend. Mark, thanks for all your help with Frabill, best wishes for your new endeavors.

Mark- Good luck in your future endeavor's! "Integrity is like virginity- either you have it or you don't!" No doubt about your stance on that subject. Life moves on! But there's no doubt about your perspective on muskie fishing etc. No matter what Cady says in trying to lure you over to the dark side! Just never stand on the dock as Steve pulls away with the motor trimmed up!

Have fun!

Mark, thanks for all of your help over these many years. I think that we were both cutting our teeth in the fishing industry at about the same time. You were always a pleasure to talk with and always treated everyone with a genuine interest and kindness. Frabill will not be the same without you. I'm glad that you are doing something that will make you happy and give you more time with your family. Those two things seem to go hand in hand, don't they?
Many thanks and best wishes from a die-hard Frabill fan. It was you that made me one.
Take this time and enjoy yourself, and keep in touch so we know where to find you.

Man this is putting a tear in my eye,,,

It is also indicative of the quality of people in the fishing industry. There are so many class acts out there that look out for others it makes it a dream to be associated in the same business, much less receive accolades from the same!

I had 19 years at Frabill. The ownership of the company runs a great ship. I was only one of the people from the company, and my position put me in the forefront of a lot of you. Trust me when I say there is an army of people in the company that have an intense drive to set Frabill apart in the fishing industry. Production, distribution, administration, finance, and of course the pro staff and the ownership all have the integrity and momentum to drive the company hard. I believe you will still see the same momentum to Innovate the Outdoors.

As for us, my wife and I have purcahsed a small restaurant/convenience store in Vials County. It is a 4 year old establishment on the junction of Highway B and Forest Lake road. Currently it is called Millers Country Store; we will give it a modest name change to Forest Lake Country Store. This is about 9 miles west of Land O Lakes and 12-13 miles east of Boulder. We hope to be in there in two weeks and that we will know the difference between a pizza and a pretzel before the 4th of July weekend!

Actually Kris will be the brains of the organization. She has about 15 years in the restaurant business. Me,, well I trust she will find something to keep me occupied and industrious.

If you are in the area please stop in and say hello. Wish us luck in our new venture!

Thank you again for the kind words. The actions of so many have paved the way making it easy for the rest of us to follow.

Mark Gostisha

Hope all goes well in your new venture.

I envy you......I want to live in the Northwoods in a bad way....just where the paycheck would come from is a bit of a problem.

Will you be guiding?
