| Surfin the net today, doing even more shopping and remebered I need to stock up on trebles, feel a good hook cutting year coming on (yeah right), and need to replace and beef up many lures I have now. Rollies has 4 choices to choose from, High Carbon Standard, High Carbon Cone Cut,Musky/Pike, and Round bend. I'm sure all these will fit in differant situations, but what is the best all around treble to use. I am thinking cone cut, but wanted other opinions, thx much.
p.s. Once I choose the style I will be getting several sizes, prob 2/0,3/0,4/0,5/0. Is this a good enough assortment, should I get even bigger ones? Thx again

| hmmm, 26 musky fisherman viewed and not one has changed a treble yet?? []
Maybe I picked the wrong brand, any other preferances besides VMC? thx.

| Greg, I will respond the first time. I like the round bend. To me they seem to have a wider gap per hook size. You have to sharpen all of them anyway, so cone angles and cuts are out the window. | |

| Greg,
If you like the "sharp out of the box" hooks, get the cone cut trebles. I don't know which model numbers they carry. I usually use the 7650's. They are 3X strong cone cut. I think the 4X cone cuts are #7226. They are both good hooks and sticky sharp.

| 9650BZ VMC round bend x heavy duty (2/0, 4/0, 5/0) Use them on my personal lures and the one I sell, no complaints from either party. | |

| Greg,
I like your assortment. I would go with the round bends - heavy duty.
