hey after memoral day weekare the muskie off there beds yet. or should i stay on the weed edge.

Kinda depends on what part of what state you're in and what the water temperatures are where you're fishing.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin
As a general rule in the North, Memorial Weekend is the Opener and the fish will be either late spring or early summer pattern. Some years water temps are in the 50's, some years in the 70's. No matter what, the muskies will be done spawning. They don't use 'beds' like a sunfish, they broadcast the roe over a larger area.

I found fish on the weedlines, in the weeds, and on the rocks last weekend, so early summer patterns are the rule in the Rhinelander area.
