Location: Palm Coast, FL | I will get a picture up when I get the darn thing working.lol Anyway here are the results:
1st-Randy Bush and Thomas Lane with 5 fish (34, 36, 38, 38, 38, 45)
2nd-Jacob Socha and Adam Smart with 3 fish (37, 37, 33)
3rd-Chae Dolsen and Joe Dailey with 3 fish (34.5, 34, 31)
4th-Doug and Joshua Himelick with 2 fish (38, 31.5)
There were not as many teams as I had intended but of the 23 teams that did compete they managed to boat 19 fish in 8 hours! The winning team caught 5 fish and lost at least 5 more! I saw a net job that went bad by them and they lost a low 40" fish as it flipped up and over the net and swam away. These guys were on the fish to say the least. If I had not seen them do it I would have never believed how they caught them...jigging! Now...how many of you would have guessed that these fish go after jigs in the summer with water temps reaching 75?
Either way...congrats to everyone and look forward to the next tournament on September 9. It will be held on the Barbee Chain of Lakes. I hope to see more people jumping on board to fish this tournament! |
