Jeremy, I have limited experience on the chain, fishing it for the first time last year. I fished Thousand Island in the heat of summer, with downriggers, pulling big Jakes, Ernies, depthraiders, sharks, etc with no luck. I switched to fishing the massive rock structure in this lake, and had a couple of short hits around dusk. This structure is awesome, be careful with your boat. Ended up over on Mamie, which is stained, and loaded with weeds. Managed a 36'" on a green hair bucktail.

Thousand Island is deep, clear, cisco based forage, and is a different style of fishing. I don't believe the density of fish is high in this chain, but I bet there are some monsters in there.

Good luck.
