Hi folks,
My buddy Mike has a 620, and was looking to order a rear casting deck for his craft. I said to him "heck, I can build you one".
Anyone have one from Ranger that you could post some pics for me? There is not one on there web site that I could find.
Thanx,
Rob

Ok, may I ask why?
I'm handy as hell (I'm a maintenance man by trade, and I make crankbaits), and I'm sure we can find carpet that will come very close to what is in there right now. Other than the fact that it would be "official Ranger merchandise", what is wrong with saving my buddy some $$?
Not trying to sound like a wise guy, but sometimes that's the way I type, lol.

Call Ranger and you can buy the exact carpet he has in his boat. It usually comes per sq yd.

In fact if you have the serial number of his boat they can look it up in their computer if memory serves me.

I have one. No need to post pics because unless you are intending to make it out of fiberglass, you can't make it the same. You will also need to order a seat pole extension that supports the middle of the deck.

On a $50,000 boat, I'd ante up the 6-800 and buy the one MADE for the boat.If I invest that much in a boat etc. it's got to be perfect. Not doubting your abilities but wood is not the same. Steve

I made one for my 619. It was easy and looks just as good as the factory. Matchig the carpet is the only issue. Drop me a line Rob, and I'll describe.

i'm sure you can build a decent/nice one out of wood..the ones from Ranger are fiberglass..much lighter and made for the boat specifically..i don't think the rear one is 500..I think it's about 300...
you can call Ranger with the vin # and they can tell you exactly how much it will be to make ..comes to your door UPS..I had a front extension made by Ranger for my 690...very nice.
