| Who makes the best commercially-available globe style bait under 25 bucks?
Why is your choice better than the others?
If I missed one that is available through a retailer, please add it. |

Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Im a big fan of the BS Willy Globes. I have caught many fish on them and they have held up really well to the abuse. I also like the particular chirp that they have to them. |

Location: Twin Cities, MN | I have an old slammer before they changed to a new design that is great. I am not sure exactly what I did when playing around with it, but it just sounds good whether I have it going slow or fast.

| The Thunderhead Jr., and similar lures seem to be more poular around here than the actual Globe-type baits. Lac Seul Turr-bo and Low-Riders, both in the smaller versions are also big right now. I actually rarely see anyone throwing the true Globe style baits. |

| I like the new Holcombe Globe bait. It has the best metalic sound of any I have ever used. |

| Both the Snowcrest Bullseye and the NEW Tsunami from Holcombe will see lots of time from my boat.To echo what Jason said, the Tsunami has "that" metal sound I crave on my globes(sounds like my old LeLure Globes).Like the Willy too and will CRUSH fish this season on the new jointed creeper. Can't wait! | I picked up a new tsunami this spring and did some test casting on a pond near my house. It sounds great, but the back metal blade doesn't do anything. I have bent it numerous different ways without any luck. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks,

| Is there too much tension for the back blade to turn- meaning is the wire too short. Where did you get it? |

| I got it at Smokey's. I don't think there is to much tension as it seems the hole drilled in the blade is almost too large for the wire used and it lays back on the beads behind it. It just lays on those beads unless I real it in really fast which is not what I wanted the bait for. I am thinking about just cutting it off. Even if it did turn fine I don't think I would like it back there anyway?????

Location: north central wisconsin | I love the Rylure Globe. Still have not found another that produces that chatter, that seems to drive the big girls bonkers in the big waves, and after dark. Definately my best big fish topwater, and the one I use the least(it gets spot duty)... might have to rethink my lure usage rates... |
