How'd you do chasing the Muskies this weekend? Sue and I did get out after some eyes, as Muskie isn't open here yet. They were very good next to a baked tater! How'd the Muskies hit?

Tried for muskies Friday afternoon and Sunday morning for a while; saw one, no takers. Reservoir nearly full.
Saturday I took the boys out for some heavy duty C & R for bluegills We had a great time, but most were toosmall to consider 'filletable'.

Hi Steve
Fished Melton Hill in TN saturday and sunday between thunderstorms. I caught a nice 41" fish on a M & G spinner bait, firetiger colored. My fishing partner hooked and lost another nice fish on a Lindy muskyspin. The other fish we saw all came to spinners. The fish were all on laydowns in coves with water temps between 60 and 70 degrees. This is my first nice fish since I started fishing down here a year ago. Don't know how to post a pic or I would. Fished the Cisco Chain: Saturday was tough with the cold, rain and wind constantly blowing 20+ miles an hour. I ended up seeing three fish -stuck two, but lost both from bent hooks. One was really nice and bent a 3/0 extra strong VMC on my Bulldawg - I guess I pulled too hard to keep it out of the wood...the other was on 2/0 small sucker rig. Both fish hit within 10 minutes of each other from the same structure.
Sunday the weather was better and the fish were more active. Lost another one on a sucker rig in the same area as Saturday and saw a few more chasing either a Rad Dog or Baby Boo. Black and Orange were the only colors moving fish. Around 4:00 I contacted another bigger fish and watched it nudge hit my glider on the pause. I had it on for a while until a few mighty head shakes. Seems like the fish wanted to eat, but were not real aggressive.
All in all – 8 fish, 4 hooked and 4 lost. Man I hope it’s this good next weekend…hahaha

We were out on Lake Michigan at dawn on Saturday. We caught 16 cohos and one lake trout.
Sunday we went out on Pewaukee, I thought that it was November. We saw one 36-ish and one undersize in 6 hours.

Was out on the Madison Chain this weekend. Tough bite. Partner caught a 24 incher on Wingra on Saturday. Never saw another fish. Went to Waubesa on Sunday and did not even see a fish. We need some warmer water temps to get these fish active.
