Location: Antioch, IL | This past saturday around 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., it was like a switch was thrown. 5 fish in a about 45 minutes and a 6th about 30 minutes after that. We had been fishing for about 2 hours previous to this with no action then all of a sudden the fish were amazingly aggressive. I have experienced a few, not this good, and have read a ton about feeding windows. There was no major weather change to trigger this (maybe a very slight increase in wind). It made me wonder if this was something to do with just this lake or did other guys experience this window on other lakes in the area. We were in the northwest 'burbs, so I would be interested to know if any of you were on the Chain, Shab or other lakes in N. IL or S. WI and caught this window (time?)

| Wassuup Dave ?? Didn't experience the window , but did experience 2 cranky kids on the boat on saturday , all I got was SUNBURNED !! I did manage to drag a few baits around but no takers . Its hard to fish woth2 kids on the boat ( 4 yr. old boy & 9 month old girl ) when 1 kid wants to know what every kind of bait is and why it's painted that color , and the other just wants the baits and everything else she can grab . Like the boat keys that wound up in the splash-well !! Congrats on hitting the window , we'll have to hook up and slime the boats . Mike will probably be up for getting out this weekend , we'll give you a hollar !! | |
