On the bow there are marks from the rubber/silicone bumper that you crank the boat up to by the winch. Drives me nuts as it looks like crap... I'm not sure if there is a solvent for this stuff or ?????

Any help appreciated, Thanks

Mark,

If you can find one, a hot water pressure washer will take darn near anything off a hull. I used one to get the keel guard glue off when NOTHING else worked.

Change it to one of the clear ones that do not leave marks.

I use The Orange power stuff, and work it in with my fingers. Let it set a second, then wipe off with a rag.

The stuff you can get at Farm Fleet, Menards called "Goof Off" worked very nice to remove the marks on the bow.

I'm going to glue a piece of marine carpet to the front roller/bumper to prevent recurrence.

Thanks for the help guys.

Just be careful if you use WD-40 on the boat. That stuff will eat paint and can cause fish eyes. But it does work well but dont let it sit to long. Just thought I would let everyone know.
