Was considering adding these 2 lures to my arsenal , any comments ? The hawg teaser seems to be hot on Cave run this spring . Is it moving fish up north also ? Thanks MD

I tossed the Chatterbait quite a bit this weekend (with the mods I made to make it a little more musky tuff), and it has some very unique action. I plan to give it a good amount of water time this year.

I haven't moved fish on the hawg seeker yet, but its one of those lures that when you see it in the water you can almost see the fish coming up and smashing it. It's kind of a weird bait -- works sort of like a suick, but sort of... not.

If you pull it just right it will dart to the side, and then it just hangs there and backs up really slow.

If you don't pull it hard enough it doesn't do ANYTHING, but maybe that's what its supposed to do?

Baldy -- any lookers this weekend on the chatter ? Thanks guys Over many many years I have had quite a bit of "luck" tossing something new at the fish each year. I think there is something to said for showing them something new. even on the un-pressured waters I fish. MD

Mauser moved a fish this weekend on a Hawg Seeker up at Salt Fork in the midst of a muskie tourney. If you really want to wake them up, try the Boss Hawg. m

I tossed the Hawg Teaser for a while and I was very impressed. I am a Suick man and like the different action the Teaser had. That bait WILL catch fish.

nope, no lookers this weekend. It was a little too fast for their taste. Everything we saw fish on was moving nice and slow.

We saw a few fish on Pewaukee with the 12 inch Teaser and I had one up on the Bassnatcher and caught a Largemouth on it and a few Smallies on Sunday evening.

I was involved in the initial testing and helping to develop the Teaser and several other of Hawgseekers offerings. We primarily tested late last summer and fall and we pounded the fish on it. I work it with the darting side to side and then let it pause. But you'll find your own way to use it with confidence.

Oh...and by the way for you large bait lovers, we are currently working on a Magnum Teaser...15+ inches long and so far the proto types pull like a hot knife through butter and have a HUGE side to side swing to them... Stay tuned for reports on this one by the end of this season. If testing goes well, I suspect Ron and Joel will introduce it for the show season in 2007.

I was lucky enough to win a Hawgseeker auction benefiting the Oberfoell family. So far so good…I caught 3 fish and raised 4 more on Hawgseeker baits over the weekend. Maybe a little Karma mixed in but they have an awesome line of baits! In fact I need to go order some more right now

I am going to add a chatterbait to my arsenal next time I stop at the musky store.

I threw a Hawgseeker for a while saturday afternoon and was impressed. The bait is very easy to work and has great hang time. This bait will catch fish!

Heck Danny you dont need any new baits. You know you will end up anyway throwing the same old reliable black buch that seems to never fail!!

they're awesome baits...my 2nd or 3rd cast at cave run, i had a low to mid 40" fish up cracking at it a few different times in about 5 mins....too bad i couldn't seal the deal.

that boss hawg is THE coolest sounding topwater of that kind (the wobbler type family). if u think u envision something smashing your teasers....man, the boss is just BEGGING to get crushed.

i had some follows in southern wisconsin over the weekend with the bass snatcher from hawg seekers. what a great bait. i can almost see a fish hit it as the year progresses.
i also threw some slow tease and boss' hawgs that im very confident in too.

The chatterbait is a great bait, but must be modified with a stronger snap for musky use. The Hawg Teaser has been doing very well in early season action in KY, and I just picked up a big and small one. I like the big one better because it has more action, but the little one will have a time and place too.

Mikie's article in Muskie Magazine convinced me I need to get a Boss Hawg
