Caught this bait today while fishing. Didnt catch a musky and broke the lip on a shallow raider, but I did snag this thing so the day wasnt completely lost.......Anyone know what it is? Has a BJ or BS "06" on the side which makes me think it is a BS Wiley, but I'm not sure.....any help?? Thanks

Mike

That my freind is a Rubber Tailed Dinglehopper, very similar to the Deep diving Whatchyamacallit

Truth be told I have seen one before or at least one similar but I can't remember where, Looks like it could be a good bait

Looks like a giant sperm to me! Nice to hear you broke a lip on a crank. Break 3 more and you will catch up to my season total.

Check with 8inchcrank. Ace baits(i think) makes something that looks like that. If Ace baits is not the tackle company I am thinking of it is whoever makes the scuds and sweat shads. They use to have a whole line of these baits at the gander in Wausau.

There is a fella in the area that makes alot of custom Musky lures for his own use and fishes with them from shore, never being able to get his snags out. I have found a couple of them in the past, and have even given one back to him one day after I saw him using a similar one(suick copy). Was he ever happy!!! if you were fishing where I think you were, the fella drives a small blue datsun or mazda pickup with lots of junk in the back. If you see him, show it to him and make his day. You can decide whether to give it back or not... Looks like an Action Plastics brand grub on it though, and the shallower lip and paint job used on some of my earlier Shark divers, from when Rex Dorotty owned Riverrun tackle. Thats as close as I can come to a guess...

It's not an ACE/Fishing Pool. While I agree with the possibility of being a Wildebeast sperm, I don't think there is anything in their diet that emits a chrome hue. Looks like a Badfish "Stinkytail". Or it could have been someone drinking with Jeff Tilkens who became convinced Tilky is a master lure craftsman rather than a "Sea man" with a tan and some creativity!

That is not a GoDeeper. This I know to be true. Another bait by Juan, though?
