maintenance free batteries vs. water cell bateries

Subject: maintenance free batteries vs. water cell bateries


What are the pros and cons of each? Which do you guys prefer? I have always used the maintenance free ones, but my new boat came with water-cell batteries. Any tips on how often I should inspect the water levels?
