Subject: Wisconsin Rules on Judge Boats and Limits.


I thought I saw on here a while back, a thread about fishing judge boat tournaments in Wisconsin, but can't remember which one it was. It may have even been just about fishing regular tournaments. What I was curious about though, is that in that thread, I think it was mentioned that if you caught a Muskie, and transported it, it was considered a harvested fish, and would count toward your daily bag limit. What about Judge boat tournaments? Because you are keeping the fish in the net for a period of time, is that looked at in the same fashion, or does that fish NOT count toward your limit? Legally, in a Judge boat tournament, can you register as many fish as you catch? Thanks in advance.

Yes, as long as the fish doesn't go in the livewell then it's not considered a harvested fish. You can measure as many fish as want, as long as they don't go in the livewell.
