| Wow!!! Got my first look at the Pete this weekend. What a minefield!!! Water temps in the high fifties. Couldn't fish muskies yet, but got a look at the lake. For those of you fishing the PMTT, take your time, there is stumps all over the place.

Location: Nekoosa, WI | A mine field is about right! Unless you are very familiar with this body of water, take your time and don't speed!! I fish it about 70 days a year and every year I see guys loose there props and/or lower units a few times a year. The only place you are reaaly 'safe', is the south basin by Petenwell County Park. Stay in the river channel that is marked and you will be pretty good although the north side of the lake and the river itself can pose it's own hazards. Stay safe everybody and have a good tourny. I'll be there as well. Jason Bovee |

Location: north central wisconsin | I guess having the pete on the openner to 4 or 5 boats for the past decade, was going to end sooner or later. Be safe boys!! Will be fishing elsewhere this year. Take care of those fishies in there, and let me know if you get any fin clipped models please, as our stocking research study will appreciate it. |

| Fished it sunday as well and the water very stained and murky. With all the rain on this week expect it to get even more dirty. A follow will have to be very high to see it. And I agree a minefield it is. If you've not fished and going for the tournament try to get at least one day on it befor it starts................oh and bring your long johns along....gonna be cold in the mornings.
