| I already decided to get the C4 by Abu Garcia, but I saw they make a C4 in the winch series. What does the winch series have that the regular C4s don't? And would it be smarter to get the winch or the regular C4 and why?

| The winch is a 3.8:1 ratio I believe. For hard jerkbaits I would probably stick with the C4 non-winch, for soft plastic jerks I like the C4 winch. I own both reels and like them very much. My C4 non-winch doubles as a bucktail reel and the winch doubles as a big crankbait reel. I get a couple of applications out of each one. I am not an expert by any means, that is just my preferance. | |
