Where are you headed to fish Muskies this weekend? Season is closed still here, and I've a tournament to cover tomorrow, so Sue and I will probably fish perch Sunday if it's as nice as the forecast calls for.

Mike, there's no fish in there. Might as well stay home and watch reruns of the Partrige Family.
I maaay get out there Sunday, but not 100% sure yet.

I'm headed up to Michigan to hit up the perch run. There's nothing wrong with hookin a few 12 inch footballs on lite gear!! The game fish season doesn't open till next weekend so it looks like crawlers and wigglers will be the name of the game. It's amazing how many pike will eat a night crawler.

I'm heading up to Land O Lakes to put my pier in and get ready for the Walleye opener in a couple of weeks. I'm going to put the Guide 315 on the water for some Pan Fish Sunday afternoon, weather permitting. I wish they made really small topwaters you could throw for Crappie.

Hey Gander, try using the smallest size torpedo they make and you should use it in 4 lb test. 6 lb is close to overkill for the bait but I've used it and have had some decent luck when I've found the crappies.

Hope this helps,
