| MuskieFIRST is pleased to announce our spring photo contest, sponsored by Muskie Mojo Tackle.
Get out there and take some fishing pictures, post them to this thread, and get a chance to win some awesome prizes from Muskie Mojo!
The rules are simple:
- pictures must be taken in 2006
- pictures must be posted to this thread by midnight on May 9th
- pictures must be "fishing related". they don't have to contain fish, just be related to fishing.
- this is NOT a "big fish" contest...use your imagination to entertain others and impress the judges!
Winning photos will be picked by a judge panel consisting of Lambeau, Slamr, and Baldy.
1st place: Weagle topwater limited edition, Wabull jerkbait limited edition, Muskie Mojo hat
2nd place: Weagle topwater limited edition
3rd place: XX Bucktail
Muskie Mojo is the home of a fine lineup of muskie fishing lures, including the famous Weagle walk-the-dog topwater, the Wabull jerkbait, as well as the XXX and XX bucktails.

| You did say "Fishing Related", but this still may be cutting it close.
I was asked to take pictures at the MI Spring Board meeting on April 1st. This is one of my favorites from that day. It's a photo of Rick Lax bringing in the replicas to be given out that night at the banquet.
Not a sight you see very often. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks.

| Actually, the pics should be credited to my youngest daughter.
All are from the spillway in Madison on the creek into Wingra. A big local attraction in spring.
This one was the only one that jumped the spillway and up into Wingra while we were there. She's probably in the 42" range. Here's the final parting shot, just as she made it....

Location: Brookfield, WI | I hope this works. I have two pictures of the plan as it works its way toward action.
I perfer shopping the upscale boutique Musky shops as opposed to the big box retailers. The first picture is of John from Smokey's, myself, and my personal tackle consultant and shopper, Captain Mike Koepp of Mike's Extreme Guide Service. We are holding my final pre-opener bait purchases. Baits specifically chosen for me by Capt. Mike to make fishing Pewaukee Lake a rewarding and bountiful experience.
The second photo is of myself and my muksy fishing tutor, Professor Mike Koepp of Mike's Extreme Guide Service. After our purchases we retired to a classroom at the Waterfront Musky College on Pewaukee Lake. The study session was intense and lasted over four hours, causing us to both to miss dinner with our families. We felt because such a tremendous amount of knowledge was presented by Professor Mike, and then absorbed by my open and eager mind, that the sacrifice was a reasonable, and indeed, a necessary one.
Kevin
All good plans lead to action

Location: The desert | Thanks for posting them Ulbian! (see below post) OK...First picture: is the 150 pound sturgeon we netted during the survey....talk about a fish!
Second picture: this is a picture of what it looked like where we were netting. The sturgeron were stacked up like this by the hundreds. A very cool site to see!
Third Picture: a birds eye view of the fish stacked up. Look closely, there are more fish in there sitting deeper. The hole they were coming is was around 12 to 15 feet deep so some of the fish sat deep.
Fourth and Fifth picture are of the albino sturgeon we got. Something not many people get to see...awesome!
Enjoy!

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | The opener was good to me Saturday, 39.75 match fish.
Sunday will be a day I will always remember.
3 muskies caught in less that 5 minutes, 40, 36, 35-inch and a 38-incher 2 hours before that.
The first one was caught and landed in the net as the sucker rod was going off, my son Mike grabbed the rod and while he was fighting the fish I took of the muskie I had and placed it the livewell so I could net the fish. As I grabbed the net the other sucker rod started to go as my sons muskie neared the boat, I grabbed the net and the rod. Here the female was on Mikes rod the male was next to her with the other sucker. I scooped both fish into the net and unhooked both of them so we could take this picture. WOW what a exciting 5 minutes.
I believe the first male caught was with the female and the other male. Bagged all three. WOW again. I still can't believe it. My daughter was there to take the pics. Coolest thing I have ever seen. WOW again. The fish are not in the order of who caught them but we were just in a hury to get them back. My son Mike caught the one I was holding.
Here is the fish. A female and her men.

| Brian, you are a lucky fisherman, even if you come home fisheless.
What a partner.
Emily, you can share my boat, and a shore lunch anytime.
I love the black and white photo....looks very 40's-like. Awesome picture.
That's something I don't see very often, a smiling partner.
Can we go home yet????? (You have to add the whine in there.)
Bri, you treat her right, and keep her smilin'. |

| Hell, they have to be in on the 9th and shot in 2006.....the season hasn't even opened up north. I smell a Rebel conspiracy!!!!
There better be another one for people north of the Illinois line with only Yankees eligible.
