Location: Winnipeg Manitoba | Some of my wooden baits are kind of banged up (rocks and teeth) what type of clear coat is best to put on them to stop them from absorbing water? |

| When I coated my own baits I used Envirotex or a 20-minute-working-time Epoxy. Both were tricky to use, but not overly so.

Location: Des Moines IA | if you're going to use epoxy, you need to come up with a way to spin them slowly so it evens out the coat. Or else it will pool in the lowest areas. I think Envirotex comes in a spray can which will work for a few utings. If you want to completely reseal it, might want to think about having on of the basement guys totally redo it for ya. |
