Anyone know where there is a decently priced indoor storage in the western suberbs of minnepolis. I am looking to spend $100 or less. Everywhere I have found is over $200. Any input would be great.

you looking for over the winter or summer? I store mine inside and it is only $15/month. For the winter, it cost me $67.50. Bigger boats would be more. Mine is 16'. I live in central WI. If anyone wants info, send me a PM. They had extra space.

I looked hard in the SW suburbs and found nada except those super expensive u-store it places. I even asked a few farmers not far from my house. Have you thought about an addition to your garage? You can get quite a bit for $100/mo over 30 years.

If it would work for you, you can always put the boat in the garage and leave your vehicle on the driveway. Vehicles are designed to sit outside, boats generally are not.

There are other options available like free-standing carports and temporary sheds that might work for you if there is a spot you can keep your boat like alongside a garage or something. Here are a few links to look at:

There are also pre-made carports one can buy and add to the side of a garage or house. This would probably be more applicable when you get your own house though.

But then there are always those dreaded zoning laws one has to deal with. I wanted to build a carport on the side of our garage, but can't due to zoning laws. Seems it would be two feet to close to the property line when complete. Uggh!

Good luck.

There is a big place in Maple Grove that is quite resonable. They have both indoor & outdoor storage. It's at the intersection of 101 & County Rd 10. I don't have a name for you but could get it if you're interested.
