Location: Right behind you (tap, tap) BOOO | My buddy's family has a cabin on this lake. I have thought about bringing my gear up with me but just figure with all the partying not much time to fish (never thought I'd say that) and I would be fishing solo as these guys like water skiing and such. Well I'd like to give the musky fishing a shot on this body of water this summer, is the Muskie population worth the effort? How about big fish? Size, Numbers or both? Not looking for spots just a little heads up.

It definetly a good musky lake,
there is deep cabbage that grows in there,
so dont be affraid to fish deep, also Yes there are big girls in there, its long and narrow lake,
She is pretty clear lake, so try night fishing if you can, have done well on topwater!

| Not sure when you were there last, but in the past couple years the lake has been totally taken over by eurasian milfoil, with only one cabbage patch left that I know of. Still, it is a moderate fishery, I regard it as a numbers lake with lots of smaller fish but with such clear water it makes catching difficult. Don't get me wrong, there are some hogs in there. I agree tho, best bet is to fish after dark..... there goes the partying.... | |
