Anybody got any info? My aunt and uncle are looking at a place there for June, and I told her I would find some info for them...

Muskies?
Walleyes?
Good for the family?

Thanks

Been to Blackbear Lodge 4 times, about 20 miles outside of Red Lake. Awesome Walleye, Northern, and Lake trout lake. There are 2 small lakes that are joined via a channel just outside of Red Lake, I can't think of the name, but the lodge had a boat there that you took turns signing up for if you wanted to fish a different lake. The last time I was there (3 years ago) nobody was interested in this lake, so our group fished it 4 days. These 2 lakes are loaded with Musky. We mangaed 12, nothing huge, but I saw probably 100 fish during that time. Some huge walleye also, and get this, I caught then on giant jackpots.

There are a few lone muskies in Red, but targeting them would be a waste of time unless you get extremely lucky...Kinda like the Rainy lake population but a little worse then that even...Awesome Lake Trout Fishing, Pike, and Good Sized Walleyes

There is a lake called Flat lake, it is near the beginning of the road that takes you to Black bear camp...Lots of Muskies, very seldom fished lake
